Answer - B - There are about 16,000 drunk driving deaths in the US every year, and about 500 in New York State. The 16,000 is down from about 26,000 in the early 80s.
There were about 2,800 people killed in 9/11. About five times that number are killed every year by drunk drivers in the United States. Since 9/11 128,000 people have been killed by drunk drivers which is 45 times the number of people killed on 9/11. It is the total population of Genesee and Orleans counties.
The city of Batavia, NY is about 16,000 people. The whole city of Batavia, NY is wiped out every year.
