There is an old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. Thinking about this, it dawned on me that sometimes clearer points are made with images than with many words. So today I am starting a new category on the GCASA Cares blog tagged: images of addiction. I will be posting images that stop me in my tracks and make me think a little. Socrates said, "An unexamined life is not worth living." Not many people, especially people abusing chemicals and behaviors like gambling, are living much of an examined life. The intention in posting these images to help people to stop and think and examine their lives.
